Carpet Ninja Ltd – Terms and Conditions

 

1. Definitions

 

1.1 "Company" refers to Carpet Ninja Ltd, registered in England and Wales.

1.2 "Customer" refers to the person or company requesting the cleaning services.

1.3 "Services" refers to the carpet and upholstery cleaning services provided by the Company.

1.4 "Agreement" refers to the contract between the Company and the Customer, including these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Services

 

2.1 The Company will provide professional carpet and upholstery cleaning services as agreed with the Customer.

2.2 While we take every precaution to remove stains and dirt, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains or damage that pre-exists.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse service if the premises are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

 

3. Pricing & Payment

 

3.1 All prices are quoted based on the size and condition of the area to be cleaned. Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled carpets or special treatments.

3.2 A deposit may be required for bookings over a certain amount, at the Company’s discretion.

3.3 Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless agreed otherwise in writing.

3.4 The Company accepts cash and bank transfer. Late payments may incur interest at 8% per annum plus the Bank of England base rate.

 

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

4.1 The Customer must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price.

4.2 If the Company cancels or reschedules due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or alternative appointment will be offered.

 

5. Customer Responsibilities

 

5.1 The Customer must ensure clear access to the premises and remove any fragile or valuable items before cleaning begins.

5.2 The Company is not responsible for damage to items left in the cleaning area, unless caused by negligence.

5.3 The Customer should inform the Company of any pre-existing damage or areas of concern before cleaning begins.

 

6. Liability & Insurance

 

6.1 The Company holds public liability insurance to cover accidental damage caused by negligence.

6.2 The Company is not liable for:

 

·        Pre-existing damage to carpets or upholstery.

 

·        Damage caused by poor carpet installation or loose-fitting carpets.

 

·        Fading, shrinkage, or discolouration due to pre-existing conditions or manufacturer defects.

 

6.3 Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

 

 

7. Complaints & Satisfaction Guarantee

 

7.1 If the Customer is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify the Company within 24 hours, and we will attempt to rectify the issue.

7.2 Refunds or re-cleaning will be at the Company's discretion, provided reasonable grounds exist.

 

8. Force Majeure

 

8.1 The Company is not liable for delays or failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, or emergencies.

 

9. Governing Law

 

9.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
